What’s the best time of year to travel to Iran?

High Season: March, April, and May
Expect wonderful temperatures, perfect for sightseeing through Iran. But with higher temperatures comes higher prices (and bigger crowds), particularly during late March/early April – so it’s a good idea to book your accommodation well in advance so you can get the best deals first!
Shoulder Season: June, July, August, September, and October
If you’re looking to travel in June, you’ll have warmer weather, fewer tourists and lower prices. If you’re interested in doing some mountain trekking, September and October are the months for you – with more moderate temperatures for you to trek ‘til your heart’s content.
Low Season: Late November, December, January, and February
Prepare to be cold! Particularly in the Northeast and West, but this is the perfect time to travel if you’re into skiing. It’s also a good time for discounted hotel prices and fewer crowds to fight through, giving you more space to explore and sightsee with unobstructed views. Less really is more!
